Märklin 8992 – Level crossing with two half barriers

Two electromagnetic half barriers with illuminated red warning lights add movement and a focal point to your Z layout.

The set brings road and railway together with two electromagnetically operated half barriers. Each barrier carries two red warning lamps that light when the barrier is closed. It creates a recognisable operating scene near a station or along an open stretch of line.

Manual control and train-operated automation are possible, but both require additional control components sold separately. Decide how it will operate before installation: the barrier set is not a complete control system ready for every possible track arrangement.

Technical details and contents

Contents: 2 electromagnetic half barriers, each with 2 red warning lamps.
Warning lamps illuminate with the barrier closed.
Base size per unit: 96 × 37 mm.
Manual operation requires 1 additional 8946 signal switch.
Automatic operation requires 1 universal relay 8945 and 2 circuit tracks per track; for example 8529, 8539 or 8589 depending on the layout.
