Manufacturer information describes the model. The item description and photos define the condition and contents of this particular offer.
G model of DR 99 1757-6, class 99.73–76, formerly Saxon VII K, in East German Era IV condition.
Length 51 cm; two powerful ball-bearing motors and traction tyres. mfx/DCC decoder, direction-dependent headlights, cab and firebox lighting, running sounds and whistle.
Wheel-synchronised pulsed smoke and cylinder steam; opening cab and smokebox doors. The product page includes a buffer capacitor pictogram.
The check digit and grey-white warning corners on the cab window visors identify Era IV. The model depicts mounting holes left by removed builder’s plates; the manufacturer links this 1980s feature to brass shortages in East Germany.
Manual: LGB two-rail DC, 0–24 V; mfx/DCC, factory DCC address 03. Priority mfx, DCC, then DC. Parallel function triggering only; serial triggering is unsupported. Factory sound functions are not active in analogue operation.
The manual limits the smoke generator to 5–6 ml of Märklin 2421 smoke fluid. Read the operating and safety instructions before filling.
Function mapping: Central Station 60212 with restrictions; 60213/60214/60215/60216/60226 according to the manual. This is not an unrestricted compatibility claim for every controller.
Document discrepancy: the product page identifies 99 1757-6; the manual for 21484 gives the factory mfx name as DR 99 1757-4. Both statements remain separate; that name does not change the model’s identity.
Adults only. Check each example’s description and photographs for its actual condition and accessories.
The product page supplies no additional controller matrix. The manual’s original assignments are retained; no controller-specific compatibility cells are invented.
