- The Norfolk Southern ES44AC includes factory-fitted dynamic smoke and digitally controlled number boards, cab lights and high beam.
- Two axles per truck are powered, four in total.
- Parts are supplied to fix the NEM pocket when using knuckle couplers.
- The Märklin H0 version uses the centre-contact three-rail system on 16.5 mm track.
- For locomotives the electrical system is essential; a corresponding Trix H0 two-rail version is a different reference.
- With cars, wheelsets, couplers and any electrical supply must be considered together.
