Märklin 24630 H0 1:87 three-way turnout, 188.3 mm long, with two 24.3° branches and two manual levers.
Connection geometry at both ends matches 24611/24612; asymmetric frog area and staggered point pairs. Two 74491 mechanisms and 74470/74471 lanterns can be retrofitted; these additions are separate from the basic manual configuration.
Operation and connection
The product description lists decoders 60831 or 74465; the related-products list also shows 74466. Check the built-in decoder version before purchase. The instructions show an external m83 controlling both mechanisms.
Do not remove the linkage cover. The instructions show conventional AC/DC 16 V power and LED indication only with control box 72710. Both mechanisms must be coordinated for the three routes; one button combination is explicitly crossed out. Follow the connection and operation diagram and do not set the two point pairs against each other.
Track system and documents
Concealed mechanical and electrical connections in the ballast bed, stable click connections and metal rails. Assembly and dismantling without screwing down; space underneath for wires, mechanisms and decoders. Other Märklin track systems require suitable transition tracks; centre conductor operation and the common return of both rails are retained. Planning software listed: 60521.
