Manufacturer information describes the model. The item description and photos define the condition and contents of this particular offer.
LGB 23105 models MGB no. 3 «DOM» in Era VI, with different staff recruitment decorations on its sides, 67 cm over buffers and servo-operated pantographs.
Two ball-bearing motors drive all four wheelsets and two rack gears. Genuine rack operation uses 10210 rack and 10220 holders, maximum 12% gradient. The manual advises against tight rack curves and recommends symmetrical couplings and 64462 hooks.
LGB two-rail DC 0–24 V, factory DCC/mfx decoder and DCC address 03. Priority mfx > DCC > DC. Parallel function activation only. The manual explicitly rules out Mobile Station operation because of high current draw; generic mfx registration wording does not override this restriction.
mfx setup through Central Station; mapping with 60212 restricted and 60213/60214/60215 as stated in the manual. DCC short addresses 1–127 or long 1–10239, selected with CV29; 14 or 28/128 speed steps, factory 28. No PoM for CV1/17/18/29; programming track recommended. Disable unnecessary protocols through CV50 as instructed.
Rear pantograph raised according to travel direction with function 7; manual sequence with 3, disabled by 7. Function 7 active in analog operation. Magnet 17050 triggers a long or short whistle according to orientation. Maintain reliable wheel/rail contact. Adults only; manual warns about under-15s, functional sharp edges and swallowing magnets.
The 23105 product page advertises analog running sounds, while the manual says analog sound is factory-disabled. Immediate analog sound is therefore not promised; it depends on configuration. Analog footnotes and conditions remain in the table.
Table from the specific manual preserves numeric keys, internal assignments, duplicate rows and empty cells. The light key is not renamed F0, and row order is not used to invent F-keys. Sound/Aux/SUSI values are internal assignments, not controller compatibility columns.
Notes: 1 active in analog according to settings; 2 with random sounds; 3 disabled by function 7. Actual PDF languages DE/EN/FR/NL/ES/IT. The up-to-32-functions pictogram states controller-dependent capacity; this specific table has 31 functions. No missing functions are invented.
